The 6G-RIC team made a strong impact at this year’s IEEE 6G Summit in Dresden, Germany, with exciting demos and insight into next-generation communications technologies. Our experts provided live demonstrations of the cutting-edge research and innovation within the 6G-RIC project:
The @Fraunhofer HHI team also organized two highly engaging sessions:
Prof. Slawomir Stanczak delivered a visionary talk:
“Task-Oriented 6G: Semantic Communication and Distributed Intelligence with Applications to Collaborative Robotics” and he also contributed to the Panel Discussion on Physical Layer Security, reinforcing 6G-RIC’s leadership in secure and intelligent network design.
A big thank you to our incredible team on-site:
Prof. Slawomir Stanczak, Sven Wittig, Tano Bischoff, Elena Kempf-Loeck, Abishek, Ralf Lindstedt, and Dr. Martin Kasparick.
The xG-Incubator was proudly showcased with airpuls — Open RAN Made in Germany, further underlining our commitment to sovereign and open communication systems.
6G-RIC and the xG-Incubator are funded by the @Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
Welcoming a New Milestone: Launch of xG-ALOE!
We are excited to announce the first public appearance of xG-ALOE (Alliance for Open Enterprise Networks)! Built on the success of #CampusOS, xG-ALOE represents the next chapter in building open, modular, and sovereign digital infrastructure in Europe.
In partnership with Innovation Cluster 5G Berlin e.V., Fraunhofer HHI proudly launches xG-ALOE — driving innovation in Open RAN and 5G Campus Networks through openness, modularity, and vendor-neutral design.
